LCD Display Manufacturing Process
We Bunsun are a professional LCD display manufacturer with complete factory production line, and competent to produce monochrome LCD panel and module, TFT module, capacitive touch panel and cover glass.
With 1 complete produce-line, Bunsun is capable to produce all kinds of monochrome LCD technology like TN, HTN, STN and FSTN independently by ourselves, including frontend process of designing/making panel cell and backend process of LC injecting and polarizer assembly process.
For module process, there are 4 full automatic and 2 semi-automatic COG bonding produce-line. 1 SMT produce-line, 4 COB bonding machines. And another 10 flexible module assembly lines, for FPC soldering, bezel and backlight assembly etc.
LC-Panel Frontend-Process Flows
Evenly print a layer of PI on the cleaned and dried ITO glass, and then cure it.
Rub the PI surface with a lint in a special way to let the liquid crystal molecules rank following the way.
Print the frame paste and the Ag paste on the upside and underside substrates respectively. And then spray some spacers on the Ag paste-printed substrate.
Assemble the upside and underside substrates accurately according to the alignment mark to get LCD empty cell.
To cure the frame paste and the Ag paste by atmospheric pressure and high temperature.
LC-Panel Backend-Process Flows (9)

The laminates are scribed and chopped to get to individual empty cells.

End Sealing the injection hole and cure it by UV light.

Smooth the panel edge. Clean off dust or contaminants on the glass surface.

To do 100% visual and electronic inspect to sort our any defects related to comestic or function.

To laminate the top and bottom polarizer by manual or machine.

To check if there is defect after pin assembly by optical inspection and function inspection.

To do visual inspection on cosmetic, and then flow to packing station.
Module Assembly-COG Process Flows (11)

To attach ACF first and then bond the IC on the LCD precisely to ensure LCD ITO lines well connected to IC traces.

To pre-bonding ACF and then bond FPC on the LCD cell precisely to ensure the FPC and LCD directly connected by ACF.

To coat silicon glue on the bonding area to protect the ITO lines and IC.

To attach the top and bottom polarizers on the LCD.
For COG type product, polarizer assembly is done after to avoid polarizer damage due to the high temperature in COG process.
